Table Top: Tempered glass, round, smoked grey tint
Base: Wood, four crossed timbers interlocking at a central knot
Finish: Walnut
The glass: A soft cloth with warm water, or a standard glass cleaner. Buff dry with a clean lint-free cloth to avoid streaks.

Tempered glass: Strong in normal use, but avoid sharp knocks to the edges and corners, which is where glass is most vulnerable. Do not stand or sit on it, and do not set very hot items directly on the surface.

Avoid: Abrasive pads and scouring powders, which will scratch the glass permanently.

The wood base: Dust with a dry cloth, or wipe with a barely damp one and dry straight away. Keep out of long direct sunlight and away from heat vents.

Moving it: Lift by the base, not the glass, and never drag it.

The joinery is the point

Most tables hide their best part under a slab. The Pane doesn't. The top is smoked grey tempered glass, so the crossed walnut timbers underneath are the whole point — you get a full 31.5-inch circle of surface and you still see the joinery, the rug and the floor through it.

Round, which small rooms prefer

No corners to catch a hip on the way past, and a circle reads lighter than a square of the same width even though it holds nearly as much. At 15.5 inches high it lands just under most cushion lines.

Warm underneath, cool on top

The base is wood in a walnut finish, which keeps the whole thing from reading cold and clinical the way an all-glass-and-chrome piece does. Four thick timbers pass straight through one another at a single knot — no brackets, no visible hardware, just lap joints doing the work. Glass on wood is the combination that stays warm.

Side table by name, coffee table by size

A 31.5-inch circle at 15.5 inches high works as a small coffee table in front of a two-seater, and just as well at the end of a larger sofa. Warm water or a standard glass cleaner, buffed dry with a lint-free cloth, and it is back to being invisible.
