To clean: Vacuum the upholstery in short, overlapping strokes. Switch to the crevice nozzle for the seams and around the cushion.

Treating stains: Blot spills straight away with a clean dry cloth. Use a water-based upholstery cleaner, let it sink in, then blot with a microfibre cloth. Do not scrub, as that pushes the stain deeper and can flatten the weave.

To maintain: Turn and plump the seat cushion weekly so it wears evenly, and keep the chair out of prolonged direct sunlight.

Softer than it looks

All those curves are 28-density foam under a fine popcorn weave, with one loose seat cushion you can plump back into shape. Sculptural from across the room, still a chair when you actually sit in it.
