To clean: Vacuum in short, overlapping strokes, using the crevice nozzle around the seams and under the cushions.

Treating stains: Blot spills straight away with a clean dry cloth, then use a water-based upholstery cleaner and blot with a microfibre cloth. Do not scrub.

The covers come off: Unzip and wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. Zip the cover closed before it goes in the machine or you will fish out a tangle. Line dry, and put it back on while it is still slightly damp for the best fit.

To maintain: Turn and plump the cushions weekly, and keep out of prolonged direct sunlight.
